How To Apply

Online Admission Application

All applications to the LKCMedicine must be submitted online between October and April via
the NTU application portal here

Applications must include the following information:

  • Academic results
  • Personal statement
  • Co-curricular accomplishments (if the applicant would like to be considered under Non-Academic Achievements/Discretionary Criteria scheme)
  • 2 Reference reports (The online reference report is in question and answer format.  There are 5 – 6 questions which will take no more than 10 minutes to complete.  Instructions and login details will be provided to applicants who will in turn forward the login information to their referees.)

 

Applicants may submit additional documents to support their applications

*All offers of admission to the LKCMedicine MBBS undergraduate degree course will be made through the NTU Office of Admissions and Financial Aid (OAFA).

5-year Medicine course for undergraduates.

Requirements • Good ‘A’ Level results.• Good pass in Chemistry.

• two other subjects, of which one must be Biology or Physics

• And indicate Medicine as first or second choice on the application.

Locals with International qualifications should have equivalent qualifications and overall good grades including good passes in Chemistry and either Biology or Physics.

Admission to Medicine

All candidates who are shortlisted for Medicine must submit a portfolio to the Dean’s Office of the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. The portfolio must contain an official testimonial from your junior college or high school, two letters of recommendation, a personal statement (one page), a resume or list of co-curricular activities (one page) and an IC size photo.. This portfolio will be read by the interviewing team and evaluated by the Selection Committee. Other information Shortlisted applicants must appear personally for the interview.Further details will be provided to shortlisted applicants via email and / or post. Applicants are advised to maintain a functional email at all times.

Exceptional Individual Scheme

Applicants who wished to be considered under the Discretionary Admission scheme for Medicine should apply under the Exceptional Individual Scheme by 23 March 2015.
