Six programmes. Use one, or all of them.
Some families sign up for the full Admissions Mentoring programme and stay for two years. Others come for six weeks of essay work in October. Both are normal, and everything below can be bought on its own.
Admissions Mentoring
Our full programme, and the one most families choose. It covers application strategy, portfolio building, essays for UCAS, the Common App and Singapore universities, entrance tests, interview preparation, and help with TOK, the EE, the IA and IELTS.
It's built around your child's goals, target universities and timeline, so the length varies a lot: from 12 sessions to more than 100.
Early Years Guidance
About six sessions. Your child meets two to four mentors from different fields, such as medicine, law, business and engineering, and hears what the work is really like. It's for students who don't know what they want to study yet, which at 13 is most of them.
Admissions Essay Support
From eight sessions. We work on UCAS personal statements (now three structured questions instead of one essay), Common App essays and supplements, and applications to Singapore, Australia and Hong Kong. We help students work out what they want to say, then say it plainly. The writing stays theirs.
Interview Preparation
Oxbridge academic interviews. NUS and NTU medicine and law interviews, including MMI and panel formats. Scholarship interviews and US alumni interviews. Students sit mock interviews, work through past case material and get feedback on how they sound and carry themselves. The aim is a good conversation, not a rehearsed one.
Entrance Test Preparation
One-to-one, with real mock questions and drills built around the student's weak spots. Packages start at 12 sessions.
- UK: UCAT, LNAT, ESAT, TARA, TMUA, STEP
- US: SAT, ACT
- Australia and Hong Kong: ISAT, UCAT ANZ
- Singapore: law and medicine admissions, MOE scholarships
Portfolio Projects
For students who need something real to write about. We match them with academic mentors, start-ups and research labs in medicine, engineering, computer science, business and the humanities. They do original research that can lead to a publication or a conference entry, build a science or tech project, or join an internship. Some students work one-to-one with PhD researchers on an independent project, from the research question through to writing it up. Start six to twelve months before the application cycle.
The whole thing, or one piece at a time
The full programme suits students starting at least a year before applications. If your child needs help with one thing, say the Oxford interview or the personal statement, we'll do just that.
After a profile review we send a written proposal with the programmes, number of sessions and timeline, so you can see exactly what you're buying.
Tell us where your child is now.
We’ll tell you, honestly, what we’d do next.
