Straight answers to what families ask us first.
When should my child start?
Ideally in Grade 9 or 10, so there's time for research, reading and projects. Grade 11 still works well. Grade 12 is tight but possible, and we'll tell you what's realistic on the first call.
How do we get started?
Apply for a profile review. We reply, set up a call or a meeting, and tell you what we'd do first. Some families stop there, and that's fine.
Can we buy just one thing, like essays or interview practice?
Yes. Every programme can be bought on its own. Essay support starts at eight sessions and test preparation at twelve.
Who are the mentors?
We have 150, and they studied at Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Yale and other universities our students apply to. Your child works with a team of five.
Do you write the essays?
No. We ask questions, give feedback and push back. The essays are the student's own, and they need to sound like them, because admissions readers can tell.
Which countries do you cover?
The UK, the US, Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia. We can also help with Ireland and other European universities. Ask us.
Can you work around National Service?
Yes. We've run twelve-month programmes for students in National Service, with sessions in evenings and on book-out weekends.
My child is applying to Singapore and the UK. Can you do both?
Yes. The two cycles overlap, so we keep them on separate tracks and separate deadlines so one doesn't crowd out the other.
Do you also teach IB and IGCSE?
Our sister company, Quintessential Education, does. If your child needs tuition as well as admissions mentoring, the two teams can share notes.
