Research Scholar Opportunities

We understand that it can be difficult to find and grasp research opportunities, which is why we’ve designed our programmes to provide expert guidance and support to help our students stand out from the competition and increase their chances of being selected.

Conducting academic research and publishing a research paper can significantly enhance your college application, demonstrating initiative, research skills, and a genuine interest in a specific field. This will boost your chances of admission, especially to competitive programs.

Student Success Story

Student A

Her School

One of our students recently conducted in-depth research into food waste management, specifically focusing on the conversion of organic waste into high-quality, nutrient-rich fertilisers. Her project investigated various processes like anaerobic digestion and composting, evaluating their efficiency in reducing food waste in landfills and improving soil health. The study presented data on nutrient retention, cost-effectiveness, and environmental impact, highlighting the potential of scaling these methods for sustainable agriculture.

Additionally, the student explored the development of biodegradable plastics derived from plant-based polymers as a solution to plastic pollution. Their work examined and compared the chemical properties of biodegradable plastics to traditional petroleum-based plastics in terms of durability, degradation rate, and environmental impact. The student conducted a life-cycle analysis (LCA) to quantify the environmental benefits of biodegradable plastics, addressing issues such as resource sourcing, production processes, and waste management systems.

Through this technical research, the student demonstrated a strong ability to apply scientific principles to address critical sustainability challenges, with potential applications in both environmental policy and industry practices.
